  • You don’t track your progress:
    It’s hard to know if you’ve achieved your goal if you aren’t tracking your progress at all. Not only will this give you a way to measure how you’re doing with your goal, but it will also help sustain your motivation, as every little improvement will be a sign that you’re on the right track.
  • You don’t seek any support:
    There are some goals that are hard to accomplish without the support of friends and family members. Ask for people to hold you accountable. This works especially well if you know people who have the same goal as you—going on the same diet or going to the gym together can be a great way for you both to hit your goals.
